Loud honking late at night, with replying shouts from pedestrians.

Our neighborhood is usually very quiet, except following a Boston sports win (Patriots and Sox, so far since we've moved to where we currently are). Last night around 12:30, when there was still honking and shouting, I said to MAB, "Dear Red Sox Nation. I know you're excited. It's an exciting time. But Please Shut Up. Some of us need our sleep."

Not that I'm not overjoyed about last night's win. Just sleeeeepy.

The noise was nothing near so bad near me, really. Noticeable, yes, but not keeping me from sleep any more than an ambulance going by would (a reasonably frequent thing, living almost across the street from a hospital).

Sleep is good. Sleep is very good. Sleep on Shabbat?
