• an Asian eggplant
  
• a small yellow pattypan squash, and a large barely green pattypan squash
  
• a bunch of kale
  
• a head of garlic
  
• a big bunch of basil

How nice! My farmer took the week off due to thumb-related problems. G said he sounded so apologetic on the phone. I am hoping for eggplant soon.

I hope your farmer heals quickly; thumbs are important!

I wish I'd gotten more eggplant; one thin Asian one isn't nearly enough eggplant. I might have to stop by the Brookline farmer's market tomorrow (with the added bonus that they'll likely have tomatoes, too).
