Alexander McCall Smith has the most wonderful titles for his novels. I enjoy the interiors as well, but something about the titles make me particularly happy.

Phrase with apparently no information conveyed (from an ad, of course): "farm-picked" broccoli. I wonder where else it could be picked for commercial consumption.

Impressive art carved from sheets of currency. And a complete miniature Muppet theater.

Newest hat play has involved incorporating tubular crin. It's easier to show than describe. The hat on the left has wider crin with hyperbolic 'flowers' at the end, while the hat on the right has narrower crin with 'highlighted' spirals.

Thanks! I like how the spirals work with the narrower crin; I thought that spirals weren't enough to keep the crin on with the wider crin, since the cylinders aren't anchored other than by some yarn down the middle. I've been thinking that I might just crochet it in at the bottom using narrow yarn or DMC8 with tiny hooks....
