Good things

1. gaming without total party death
   
2. wearing a new-to-me blouse
   
3. time to chat with people at the Diesel
   
4. canasta
   
5. unexpected Blank-ness (how many years has it been?)
   
6. a trash-picked window with lightly colored panes
   
7. roasted trout for breakfast

Not good things

1. the Dad in for stent cleaning, that may or may not lead to more heart surgery
   
2. another person's infected port, with resultant hospital stay
   
3. a diseased tomato plant
   
4. work boredom, even though there's a lot of it to do

Thanks. He went into the hospital at 6:15 this morning, so I'm hoping there's news by late this afternoon.
