Midnight marriage in Massachusetts
May. 17th, 2004 09:12 amAfter a weekend in NYC, I was too exhausted to go see history in the making at midnight a mile from my house. I feel lame about it.
Luckily, NikkiNewsNet was there, taking pictures, and Hammercock wrote up her experience as well (not to mention many many many more official news outlets...).
edit, 1015: And another post, by RMD.

Date: 2004-05-17 07:07 am (UTC)i can sort of console myself with the knowledge that i wouldn't have been able to get close anyway, since most of the streets surrounding were blocked off, and i can't walk far. but still, lame.

Date: 2004-05-17 09:41 am (UTC)Well, except (b): you know you can always borrow my visitor pass, which would've gotten you reasonably close to where you wanted to be.
