Two years ago, the eruv wasn't up for Somerville Open Studios, though there were rumors.
Last year, it was on hiatus while they revamped the border to be easier to maintain.
And I just got an email that the eruv will be down this week due to a (relatively) permanent fence being down for street paving.
I thought this year I'd finally be able to walk around with water and a map....
Sigh.
