Odd food thought of the day: popcorn

I wonder what would happen if I baked popcorn with some grease, perhaps in the form of pieces of chicken (covered, of course).

Perhaps a preheated container would help. Or do you know if there's some point at which it's too late for it to pop, having not achieved 300F quickly enough?
