Shabbat food
Feb. 18th, 2011 04:45 pm- flatbreads, grape juice
- hummus
- roasted tiny Brussels sprouts
- kohlrabi-watermelon radish-apple slaw with strawberry-lime vinaigrette
- pizza with sauteed spinach and mushrooms and red onions, roasted eggplant and more red onions, and mozzarella (onion-free until put on the pizza :-)
- roasted vanilla'd pineapple
If I get inspired later, I might make tomato-feta salad with olives. Oh, and the pizza crust is white wheat flour, and doesn't have the herbs I usually toss in, because I used some of the dough for the flatbreads (in lieu of challah).
