magidI did not box, though I was gifted with a scarf in a bag.
Nor had I any involvement with doves, turtle or otherwise. Or even any turtles at all (I don't care for hard caramel, actually).
And the donut place is closed. Also the library.
On the other hand, I had a latke-and-scrambled-egg impromptu brunch.
I will light a full menorah in a little more than an hour.

a small baked whole chicken stuffed with (pareve/vegan) pesto and halved grape tomatoes
jasmine rice
herbed turkey meatballs in roasted garlic tomato sauce
sauteed onion, sweet potato, and mixed greens
possibly a green salad
a lime variant on Greek lemon rice pudding
