Upcoming events
May. 5th, 2003 10:08 amAs previously noted (here), I'm getting discounted tickets to the two Shakespeare productions at the Publick Theatre this summer. So far, Queue and Pheromone are definite yeses. Is anyone else interested? I'm planning to send in the form by the end of the week.
Also previously mentioned (here), there's a total lunar eclipse a week from Thursday (the 15th), visible through much of the eastern U.S. I'm hoping for clear skies.
More locally, the Radcliffe pottery show also starts Thursday the 15th, running through that Sunday. They ususally have some interesting pieces to look at, and there are snacks provided on Thursday, the opening. Seconds are put out on Sunday; there are huge lines then to get in. It's near the Harvard Stadium, but I can't seem to find a web site with more detailed directions.
I just got a listing of next season's Broadway in Boston shows. I'm not sure I'll end up at any of them (they're rather pricey...), but details are here, if anyone's interested.
(The lineup includes: The Lion King, Hairspray, Les Miserables, Def Poetry Jam, Urinetown, The Graduate, Movin' Out, Oklahoma!, As You Like It, Cirque Eloize, The Plough and the Stars, Porgy and Bess, and Stomp.)
