Porch production
Oct. 21st, 2010 05:54 pmThe weather might include a frost tonight, so to be on the safe side, I picked the rest of the fruits on the porch.
Final roundup of what I grew this year is:
many leaves of basil, oregano, thyme, chives, mint, sage, shiso, lavender, and rosemary
Pretty in Purple peppers (from 1 plant): 24
jalapeno peppers (from 6 plants): 50
Sweet Million tomatoes (from 1 plant): 240 + 4 green
other (large) tomatoes (from 1 plant): 10 + 3 green
Considering that I was traveling for too much of August and never really got back into the groove of daily plant care afterward (partly due to the holidays, but some just laziness), it feels reasonable.
