Pieces of a Tuesday

I saw a double trailer of tree trunks being hauled up Rte. 128. They were recently cut, the ends still a bright new wood color, bark and snow still on them. Some were longer than others. And it was so obvious that tree corpses were being taken somewhere for their afterlives. (It didn't feel morbid at the time, though it does feel weird typing it now).
Lots of people at the Diesel, a crowd at the back that grew. I was surprised by a minty green sweater, but coped :-). Hunters & Gatherers was fun, if a more intense round than I've played recently.
A wonderful surprise of morning glories, not yet fully explored, but beckoning me away from the boring job-stuff that has landed on my desk. Highly exciting, the more so for being unlooked-for.

You should've seen the one I sent back. *shudder*
