Query I wonder whether in MA, it is legal to pick fruit from trees that overhang the public domain. All I could find was information about trimming branches and such (and how it is, in fact, legal in CA). I might assume from the branch case that it's legal, but I'm not sure whether that kal v'chomer holds.

Israel is the home of the world's first deaf-blind theater. The same complex also has a totally dark restaurant with blind waiters, and a separate one with totally deaf waiters. (link warning: sound)

Now there's another place I want to explore in NYC: High Line Park. (When do I reach critical mass for a visit to NYC? Not sure, but it feels like it's getting closer :-)

For the "language geeks" and "punctuation nerds" on my friendslist: a blog of unnecessary quotation marks.

Random bizarreness: exploding knitting needles (one end of a circular needle: I suppose that should that be "exploding knitting needle" singular...)

Some hysterically funny graphs, none of which will ever be featured in a math textbook.
