They put in two little fountains in the Japanese garden outside the car dealership. It's pretty to see water arching into the air (lit from below, when dark), but it just doesn't match the theme of the garden. At all. Perhaps it help aerate the water?

Who knew? Duct tape cures warts. The world becomes more bizarre.

Finally returned some of the borrowed books to owners. Hope this is a start of a clearing trend.

I can *still* see the after-effects of the poison ivy on my legs. I suppose I heal more slowly than most, or something.

Irish Cottage Loaf is a bread with a really nice crumb, and a solid crust that isn't so hard that it hurts my mouth. Yum.

Almost caught up with veggies, with the second-to-last wave of produce tonight. I hope there isn't a great concentration of greens, or eggplants (I still have 4 from last week, though no more than that, at least! (Pheromone, did you still want eggplant?))

Uh-oh, my total inability to answer pink questions (original edition of that ubiquitous game) is showing... all I think of her being in is Firestarter, which was a barrel of laughs (not to mention the only date I had in high school).

well, nice to know i'm not the only one with a penchant for wildly inappropriate date-movies in HS...

anyway, i was making a reference to this movie (which i never saw, but i remember the trailers) starring drew barrymore. Poison Ivy, in which she looked particularly screwed up and skanky and more than a little nuts. hence, random Poison Ivy stalking reference. don't mind me. you've just gained a glimpse of how my inner bizarroworld works.

... wasn't MY choice of flick...

And, actually, had I known of Poison Ivy's existence, it would've made a lot of sense...

my first date was a blind date, going to watch The Silence of the Lambs. needless to say, i spent most of the time in the lobby trying not to vomit, seeing as i didn't know the guy well enough yet to hide on his chest.

Have to admit, I haven't seen it, but have heard things...
Glad you were comfortable going into the lobby.

the lobby was fine, but it was pretty useless as a first date. i was kinda' surprised when he called back and wanted a second date ;)

I thought you went with a guy, not a lobby ;-)
(I could add that I didn't think lobbies were gendered, nor do they usually have their own phone lines....)

I hope for the second date you got to stay in the same room for most of the time!
