Debate: where to sleep
Jul. 3rd, 2002 06:26 pmThe current choices: at home, or at the office.
The office is air-conditioned. The floor is carpeted, I happen to have my sleeping bag still in the trunk of my car, I have plenty of food for dinner and/or breakfast, there's even a pretty nice shower downstairs. But its lonely in a way I'd forgotten about, when everyone else has left.
Home is, well, home. A real bed (or futon), but with a couple of fans to keep me cool, ones that didn't do a very good job last night... I've been yawning all day. The house stays hot so much later than sunset, and it sounds like it won't be getting particularly cool overnight, either. There's a greater variety of food, home email, a greater selection of books and games.
I don't have particular plans for tonight, so I don't even have to leave the office until tomorrow if I don't want to.
