Farm share, week 12
Aug. 22nd, 2018 06:24 pm- two pounds of potatoes
- two pounds of beets (that translated into one golden and one red)
- a pound and a half of red onions
- a pound and a half of carrots of various colors (I chose mostly red and purple)
- seven green peppers
- two and a half pounds of red tomatoes
- two pounds of heirloom tomatoes
- a small head of lettuce (I chose an intensely-dark head of what looks like red oak, since that called my name louder than romaine)
- a third of a pound of oyster mushrooms
Peeve: when there's a line of people waiting to weigh their stuff, and there's only two scales at all, put your stuff into a bag, then take a moment to weigh the bag (take something out/put something in as nec.), rather than putting them piece by piece onto the scale until you hit the target weight. So much more efficient.
