Happy Elul/September!

+ much bike riding the end of last week
- missing a turn and being later than planned to the auction
+ end-of-circus-camp performance at the JCC (though some choices of music were rather questionable)
+ discovering a farm stand next to the JCC
+ hosting Shabbat dinner
+ going out for Shabbat lunch
+ being part of a bridal posse to the mikvah (a first for me)
+ meeting new people
- missing non-local people
~ being very conscious of not being on the playa
+ wedding! (mazal tov!)
- forgetting to bring poi for schtick
- not recharging the camera battery beforehand
+ excellent tablemates at the reception (plus some significant fraction of my friends list)
- not enough biking the beginning of this week
+ spin jam
+/- finishing Octavia Butler's novels (excellent reading... but now there's no more)
- fruit flies
edit
+ watching a bat flittering around Killian Court as it got dark
