Today the MA legislature did the right thing (no zombie marriage, though).
A whale that was hunted over a century ago was less lucky this time. It seems clear that it was well over 100 years old. Wow.
More locally, Cambridge traffic will be screwed up this weekend along the river (Riverfest + regular Sunday closing) and next weekend along Mass Ave between Harvard and Porter (moving three historic houses from the law school). In the latter, they're closing parts of Mass Ave, and having to remove then replace overhead bus wires, and more. Quite a production.
