Long weekend: five up, five down

+ Joining many dressed-up ladies for New Year's Eve. (The gentlemen mostly opted for more casual.)
+ Brunching with Danger_chick et al.
+ Finishing a crocheted blue and purple vest freeform (started last month on a whim).
+ Finding a new Joan Bauer book, Best Foot Forward, at the Porter Square Books Jan. 1 sale.
+ Pointer from FJ!! to Stumptuous' iron section.

- Using the rain as an excuse not to exercise.
- Wasting time playing online games.
- Too much comfort reading rather than new books.
- Not doing laundry or many other house-centric chores.
- Not hosting Shabbat meals.
