Woke up with it yesterday, assumed I hadn't gotten enough water over the weekend, hydrated aggressively. In the afternoon, it started feeling worse, and my sleep was interrupted. I've taken today off, as now my neck is sore/tender. I hope it's enough to stop it getting worse.

On the plus side, at least I've figured out what to do with the massively-ginger syrup I'd made a couple of weeks ago; eating it straight means my throat gets the ginger burn, which blocks the soreness.
