Resolved: 84% humidity without breezes is enough to make me extremely unhappy, whatever the temperature.

Despite this, I had baking to do. And as long as I was heating up the oven for one thing, I might as well make two. Which is why I now have a double ginger bread pudding and a chocolate applesauce-banana bread cooling. (The latter is experimental, using half whole wheat, and two different kinds of applesauce, apple pear and apple rhubarb. I'm a bit surprised the bread isn't at all pink. Oh, and I added salt to the recipe, which seemed to lack any. So much for finding recipes online.)

I Googled myself, and I still barely appear: two links in the first ten pages, the first on the fifth page. Both are for posts to a Jewish discussion list I was on in grad school. Part of me is glad to be so anonymous, actually. Though it's nice to know that there are some very accomplished women with my name.

The annoyance on my morning commute was entirely self-made. I somehow forgot to put my crocheting in my bag, so wasn't able to crochet in either direction. I really wanted to get more on the necklace I'm making, too.

Random: in parts of Hawaii, (non-native) frogs are affecting real estate prices.
