Out to lunch
Dec. 16th, 2004 02:22 pm- smells of horse (the mounted police were out today) and frying onions
- chowder is only on Fridays, alternating fish and corn (note to self: remember to go on Fridays)
- six ladies in red hats; I wonder what fun they were up to
- touching the small fuzzy buds (will they last the winter?) of a tree that was wrapped in strings of white lights
- I'm glad to have comfortable tights, but they keep trying to have greater acquaintance with my knees when I walk any distance
- it's warm out, a distinct contrast to the last couple of days
- faster to walk than wait for the T, and much nicer to be outside, even though I had to carry my coat
- Frog Pond as skating rink includes a low wall around the ice
