Farm share, week 8
Aug. 11th, 2004 10:58 pmTwo bags this week, and will be until close to the end of the season.
Porch note: squirrels seem to have found my porch, for the first time. Some tomatoes have been picked (and left on the railing), and I came back from a couple of days away to find a pot of 'Asian greens' (never did figure out quite what they were) toppled and completely uprooted. *sigh* Does anyone know what I can do for counter-squirrel measures?
And in a completely unrelated note, I'd like to point out that Miss_Chance is printing up (probably canvas and gusseted) bags with the Fourth Amendment on them, and would be happy to sell more...
- a bunch of cilantro (I left it for some other shareholder, since I can't even deal with the smell of it fresh)
- a head of cabbage
- a green pepper
- a cubanelle pepper
- a bag of mixed tomatoes (a pint of mixed cherry tomatoes (yellow, orange (sungolds!), red), plus three yellow tomatoes, and two plum tomatoes)
- four ears of corn (oddly, with the tips cut off)
- a small eggplant
- an onion
- a stalk of broccoli
- two cucumbers
- a large head of garlic
