Six hours 'til breakfast
Jul. 27th, 2004 03:23 pm(Well, it was when I started typing, anyway. More like five and a half, now. Not that I'm counting or anything.)
More hungry than thirsty, just now, but not in a must-eat-now kind of way. I'm lucky that I fast reasonably well.
Major disappointment yesterday: I picked the first cherry tomatoes on my porch, and they were blah. Mealy texture, nothing notable for taste (Sweet 100s should be at least a little bit sweet!). Next year, it's Sungolds or nothing.
On the other hand, there were some good things yesterday, especially involving a picnic using a picnic basket! [/Yogi Bear voice]. What a lovely surprise!
On the lemonade container: "Made with Not from Concentrate". The mind boggles. I've never knowingly ingested Not before, either concentrated or, well, not.
DNC: I can't quite be coherent about seven foot high cages with razor wire for protestors, nor about 'voluntary' searches on the T. Others have said it better than I can.
