Further follow-up

Thank you to everyone who's expressed support and good wishes. Dad's surgery is scheduled to be Friday afternoon, hopefully finishing around 6 pm.

And the friend with the infected port has to have it removed. After they get rid of the infection, they'll put in a new one (number 3, in less than a year. Sigh.). He's already gone through so much, at only 2.5... such a happy, sweet kid, too. (Elisha ben Ziva)

Right now, both are projected to be able to leave the hospital around Tuesday, though of course, things may change.
