Shorts

I got new checks this week. They're the first ones with "20__" on the line for the date (The last checks just had a straight line, without a prompt for the year, to be on the safe side, I suppose, while the ones before that were back in the "19__"s.). I guess we're safely into the century now.
[I wonder whether check processors at the bank pay attention to the date, really. I wonder if I wrote a check for July 4, 1904, for instance, it would go through.]

I tried the who's commented in my journal script, and I got all the numbers, bars, percents, etc... except every single person was listed as an unknown user. That happened both times I tried, from different computers. I feel a bit stupid.

Thanks to Treacle_Well's sandal question, I now have a place to go to find the kind of footwear I need.
