It looks like I'll be getting to keep the pictures of my brain (basically, big sheets of translucent black & white photos (on some sort of plastic)). Not sure what I want to do with them, other than perhaps scanning them.

Suggestions?

This year, the Publick Theatre is having two Shakespeare productions, Midsummer Night's Dream and Twelfth Night.

I got an offer from them in the mail: buy tickets in advance for the (two-show) season at ArtsMail (discounted) prices, and have the flexibility to go to any performance, whatever suits my schedule. Together, the tickets are $33. I'm thinking of doing this: they get all the money from the ticket sale that way, and in advance (I have to send it in by the 15th of next month), when it's presumably even more useful, and I get to choose which day most suits me.

Is anyone else interested?

I still have this damnable cold. It's not so horrible, except the timing sucks: I don't have time to fall into bed as soon as I get home from work! Feh. One more day, and I'll sleep as much as it wants.

I cleaned out the fridge this morning, and my office this afternoon. What's left: the stovetop, countertops, sink, table, car, put the things away that need to be away, and laundry. Plus some more grocery acquisition and a spot of cooking. It's all going to get done (the question being how frazzled I'll be at the end of it :-). Current plan: log out, clean for a couple of hours, then take myself out to dinner as a reward. Hmmmm... Chinese or the deli?

I got a huge chunk of work off my desk today, everything I'd needed to do before leaving, managing that despite lots of interruptions from other projects. It's been a while since I've felt this satisfied with what I did at work. And I won't be back until Monday :-).

The mural on the wall of the florist is changing day by day. Now it looks like there's going to be insects, too, a dragonfly, some ants, a spider (yeah, yeah, it's an arachnid), in addition to all the flowers, which are slowly being colored.

Tree update: I saw my first magnolia in bloom on the drive home, one of the all-white fluttery sort, not the white-and-waxy-pink kind I don't care for. The apricot tree on Putnam is just starting to blossom as well, with pink flowers coming out on top (more sunlight there). And the willow in the library park now has fronds that are light yellow-green.

"Future Bible Heroes" sounds like a religious version of "Muppet Babies."
