Sociability despite headache
Feb. 5th, 2003 10:00 amWell, mostly sociable. I went to the Diesel last night, and found myself much less able to handle conversation when what I wanted to be doing was watching the backgammon games being played (comparing what I would've done with what the players did). I've had a headache since Monday, when it was a little thing that could easily be ignored. By yesterday afternoon, it had grown, to a pain over my right eye, unlike the usual headaches I've gotten in the past. I hope I wasn't too rude to anyone.
I went to a game night, and the low-key atmosphere was wonderful. It didn't matter that I now suck rocks at playing regular Carcassonne, since it wasn't a cutthroat sort of game. And, hey, I got to hear the quote of the day, which had something to do with putting octopus down someone's pants...
I didn't stay after that first game; I still hadn't had dinner. So, a late dinner, and off to bed.
( whinging about headache blah blah blah )
