Thursday night

I managed to get most of the things I wanted to do done, except frost the cake. I've already managed not to do one of the today things at the time I'd originally allocated, but I'm determined to get those dishes toveled today, darn it!

Lots of back and forth last night. I was glad to get in a brisk walk (and somewhat dismayed how much I notice those muscles today; it shouldn't be that much.).

Got another chance to lounge on a cloud, while trying to make my way through a maze disguised as a book. Much help from the people sharing the clouds, and we finally made it through, more by dint of Cthulhia's help than anything else (Dang. I'd meant to borrow that book.). And I got to see a banana flower, which looked like a large partially-eaten artichoke in deep reddish colors rather than green. I have no idea what I would do with one, and neither did the person who brought them.

Despite all I did, though, it was hard to sleep with all the other things not yet done swirling through my head.

Pre-Shabbat rush

Bread is in the oven; pea soup is heading towards the critical meltdown stage, after which I add the other stuff; pesto barley salad done; cran sauce done. Still to do: salad prep, cake frosting, spazz that I won't have enough food for whoever it is who ends up here (likely to be fewer than 20, but who knows. Also still don't have more AJMs.), straighten up and arrange seating, lighting.

Car stuff: talked with the other woman in the accident, who was glad to hear from me, had been concerned I'd been hurt. Got the info about one witness, promised to give her info on the other once I got it, which I did on the way home. Now to write up the report. Still haven't heard from the insurance company.
