First thoughts: kohlrabi-apple slaw; bake the sweet potato and some onion under turkey breast topped with peach mostarda or some kind of compatible chutney; roasted rutabaga and turnip; orange carrots, parsnips, and some onion in turkey soup; bake and mash the pumpkin for future pie.
- a stalk of Brussels sprouts
- a head of lettuce
- a third of a pound of salad mix
- a good-sized rutabaga
- a bunch of green curly kale (traded for someone else's rutabaga)
- two pounds of red onions
- a pound of watermelon radish (huge ones; I got one that was a pound in and of itself)
- three pounds of sweet potatoes (again found a huge one, so that would be a single vegetable)
- a pound of parsnips
- a pound and a half of orange carrots
- half a pound of purple carrots
- three leeks
- a small pumpkin
- a butternut squash
- a good-sized green kohlrabi
- a Gilfeather turnip
