Porch salad!

magidThis morning was my first tomato harvest! In honor of the day, I made a porch salad:
halved Sungold cherry tomatoes, some mixed salad greens (from the six-year-old seeds I planted some weeks ago), two horseradish leaves (from the horseradish planted two weeks ago), some red shiso leaves, fresh oregano, chives, and some chive flowers I'd put in rice vinegar a few weeks ago when they were blooming. Also a sprinkling of black pepper and a drizzle of olive oil, and it was a perfect summer morning breakfast.
Current Sungold cherry tomato count 2012 (four plants): 8
