Shabbat menu
May. 22nd, 2009 07:01 pmI'm out for dinner tonight, so this is for lunch tomorrow. Given the heat we've had the last day or two, I'm uninspired to have anything I need to keep warm.
- corn and fish chowder
- green salad, likely spinach, arugula, scallions, cucumber, grapefruit, fresh peas, and radish
- sauteed greens (chard, tatsoi, arugula, and radish greens) with caramelized onions, pine nuts, and preserved lemon
- roasted summer squash, zucchini, and onions
- roasted sweet potatoes with cayenne and cinnamon
- homemade applesauce
- sliced strawberries with Greek-style honeyed yogurt
