not as much shabbat prep as a usual week, but i was asked to bring bread and dessert for dinner tonight (sushi... mmm....). so bread dough is rising, and i've dipped the last of the dried apricots in chocolate. i also dipped the last of some crystallized ginger, and made some dried-cherry-and-almond clusters. somehow it's satisfying not only to make pretty food, but to finish off lots of containers, too.
