Of course, staying in a regular hotel with fridges in the rooms is
completely doable. Sometimes it's nice to have kosher food prepared on
site without bringing appliances of my own.

  • Lathrop House, a kosher bed and breakfast in Springfield, MA
  • Admiral Weaver Inn, a kosher bed and breakfast in Newport, RI
  • Harris' Happy Hunter Hideaway, a kosher bed and breakfast in Hunter, NY (2 hours north of the GW Bridge), which includes 3 kosher meals/day in the room rate
  • Isabella Freedman Retreat Center in Falls Village, CT, which includes 3 kosher meals/day in the room rate (additional cost if attending any of the formal programming)
  • kosher (chassidische) Arlington Hotel in Bethlehem, NH (I couldn't find a web site, nor have I called to verify they're still there)

    Bethlehem, NH 03574

Anyone know of others?

I'm just thinking about trips that won't hit the wallet too hard, nor require lots of time off, while still feeling like actual travel. Though I admit it's unlikely I'll go to any of these places solo. :-(
