Shabbat food
Feb. 20th, 2009 04:40 pmI'm out for dinner tonight (yay!), so this menu is for lunch.
Hm. Two dishes with nuts is too many, but that's what I want, so I'm going with it.
- grape juice/wine, rolls
- hummus, zaatar
- roasted not-ratatouille: summer squash, zucchini, red and green peppers, and halved grape tomatoes
- sauteed potatoes and dandelion greens with onions, garlic, preserved lemon, and chopped macadamias, plus freshly-ground black pepper
- green salad with halved grape tomatoes, jicama, and dilled salmon salad
- sauteed rutabaga and beets (mostly red, some golden)
- apple crisp with walnuts
Hm. Two dishes with nuts is too many, but that's what I want, so I'm going with it.
