A bunch of local links
Feb. 20th, 2009 11:58 amAnyone with a connection to Cambridge can submit a couple of lines
inspired by the city for the Cambridge
Community Poem. Deadline is May 11; email Cambridge's poet
populist (yes, that's a real position, with an actual stipend and all,
new as of two years ago) Peter Payack: poetpopulist at cambridgema dot
gov.
A listing of CSAs,
including prices and delivery municipalities.
A Boston-area pothole
map that anyone can update.
An historical place I hadn't heard of before: the Old Schwamb Mill,
in Arlington. Open to the public Tuesdays and Saturdays from 11:00 AM
to 3:00 PM (which is to say, useless to me unless I have Tuesday off
sometime, but hey).
The current shows at the Boston
Sculptors Gallery look interesting.
