Week in review
Feb. 8th, 2009 04:43 pm+ Milk with cookies
– foot still bruised from a dropped book's pointy corner
+ per-page contract work progress, even unto invoicing
+ finally using a gift certificate to a used book store (from 2003!) (thanks again to Zzbottom)
– skipped an event I'd planned to attend due to laziness
+ sent in for a winter share through the end of next month
+ sent in kiddush receipts for reimbursement
+ rides and conversation
+ stopped at Tabrizi's and was pleased to be recognized, though it's been years since I've seen the owner
– continued undersleptness (I'm a broken record on this; I need to be more diligent about adequate sleep. It colors everything.)
– not cooking enough
– eating piss poorly too many days this week (see previous two points; it's all tied together)
– unhappy health news from a number of people
– slip and fall, though without lasting issues
+ seeing a long-distance friend recently recontacted via Facebook, and having time to reconnect
+ fabulous flowers, including birds of paradise (also, having a vase large enough to show them to advantage!)
+ hosting Shabbat dinner
+ much interesting conversation, including questions of punctuation in Torah, Ibn Ezra's time in Italy, anti-semitism in modern Italy, films and books that are nominally the same stories, and more
+ "attractive, yet not attracting"

On the whole, a positive week.

Date: 2009-02-08 11:12 pm (UTC)Oddly enough, though there were many positives, fitting in the evening work and not being diligent enough about getting enough sleep left a bit of a hole in the middle of my week. I hope that I'll be able to balance things better in upcoming weeks.
