i must've done something wrong

it took less than 2 hours to do the fed taxes, including the obligatory walk to the library for more form info. ok, i still have to copy them over, but that won't take long. (no, i don't have the simplest taxes to do - i get to do A, B, and D, though that last was due to something i've not had before, stuff held for more than 5 years. so for a measly $3.33, i had to fill out an extra form. feh.)

time to roll up the sleeves and tackle the state stuff, though i know i can't finish them tonight, with massachusetts' wacky stuff on long tem capital gains. they want information i have to call up about every year... so frustrating. but it saves me enough to make it worth the extra half hour of hassle.
