Conference on independent minyanim, which I keep meaning to post about (hopefully this week), hosted out at Brandeis.

Lessons for contract work.

Rutabaga appreciation!

Condolences on the death of your friend. May you and all who mourn be comforted.

What were the differing details?

New tree!

Ooh, does $HomeChange involve getting a freezer?

The quarter bushel of rutabagas is disappearing much faster than the quarter bushel of sweet potatoes, interestingly.

My friend was someone I'd seen in passing once or twice since college, so it's sad that she died so young (especially since she'd recently gotten married), but it touches me most that way.

I still need to post about the conference. Those details may or may not end up in a public post, given that some of it feels political enough for me to want to not have it out on teh intarwebs.

No freezer plans currently, though perhaps that will be an addition later.

That riding crop...

Next time the nieces watch that movie, I am totally pointing out the prominence of the riding crop to my sister. I think it will break something inside her brain. Wheeee!

Really, there weren't any horses ridden by any of the main characters! What else could we think?!

Good to see you. It never feels like there's enough time to catch up... looking forward to the next gathering.
