+ distributed bulk root veggies
+ rutabaga appreciation
– death of a college friend from this summer's stroke
+ conference on independent minyanim
~ learned about minyan Tehillah details that were rather different than I would have thought
+ biked to the conference, and another ride
+ new tree in front of the house
– only two lessons written
– no feedback on previous lessons submitted, despite it being promised for first thing Monday morning
+ other work leads
+ photos finally off the camera
+ made plan for $HomeChange (yes, I'm being coy; no, I'm not moving)
+ hanging out chez Imperfect, chatting and crocheting
+ long walk to a birthday gathering, expanding my mental map of Boston
+ group commentary on The Sound of Music (that riding crop...!)

Date: 2008-11-17 01:41 pm (UTC)My friend was someone I'd seen in passing once or twice since college, so it's sad that she died so young (especially since she'd recently gotten married), but it touches me most that way.
I still need to post about the conference. Those details may or may not end up in a public post, given that some of it feels political enough for me to want to not have it out on teh intarwebs.
No freezer plans currently, though perhaps that will be an addition later.
That riding crop...
