magidSuch an amazing speech! Thanks to Currentlee, who graciously opened his house, I saw it in real time (a first), except for the minute or so that the idiotic cable company did its weekly emergency override check.
McCain gave a nice concession speech; it bothers me how many people booed so often. Both speeches reached out to the other side, but the Obama crew seemed to get the message. And that seems to me to define the differences.
I think I understand now how people felt about the Kennedy election.
I biked home, and there were some cheering people on the streets :-).
And happy new puppy to the Obama girls :-). It'll be nice to have kids in the White House.
