Realization: the logos are never going to look like English to me.

They're all Hebrew:
Office is a stylized samech.
Word is a shin.
Excel is an aleph.
Powerpoint is a kuf.
And Entourage (whatever that is) is a script shin.
Oh, plus the little people for Messenger, who I assume are Hebrew speakers!

I'd vaguely thought it for years, but it didn't hit me clearly until yesterday, when I was installing it on a new-to-me computer, and the logos were all right there.

Any guesses as to whether the logo designer(s) are Jewish/Hebrew speakers?
