Shabbat food
Aug. 8th, 2008 06:58 pmAll the veggies are organic, and most are local (everything but the onions, in fact). Oh, and the soy milk and chicken are organic too. Yay.
pareve corn chowder
boneless chicken thighs baked with a chipotle mustard--cran-apricot jam glaze, over onions, chickpeas, and tomatoes
roasted eggplant and tomato
sauteed cabbage, onion, and carrot
frozen fruit bars, chocolate
All the summer squashes were roasted and eaten yesterday. What I've got left from the farm share is some carrots, peppers, and red cabbage, plus turnips from a previous week. And that's about it, which is good.
