Week in review, the plusful bits
Jul. 11th, 2008 02:38 pmSince Monday morning.
+ Taking a friend to Logan (read: time to tell Firefly stories before she had to go). I hope it's not long until we meet again, 'cause it felt like there was never enough time to catch up as much as I'd like.
+ Time with certain small people (Earthopoly?! and a solar system puzzle) and their mother. It's been too long. Bonus: dinner! That I didn't cook!
+ Gaming after months on hiatus. Not that we really started the next campaign, but come Monday...
+ Friending Fireflies. (Though it does mean yet another networking site to keep up with.)
+ Giving birthday greetings Tuesday and Wednesday. Another trip 'round the sun for two excellent people.
+ Farm share bounty.
+ Kakuro puzzles stretch my brain. (For me, definitely a paper-and-pencil activity). I'm just about done with the booklet from England (thanks again for gifting me with that!); I shall have to find a local purveyor.
+ Getting on the bike (another first-in-too-long), even though I managed to go out in a downpour. I realized I've started being a bit nervous going out alone sans cell phone (or SAG wagon :-), which is stupid. It meant I headed into the city, rather than away from it, looping around and out to Watertown, giving me lots of practice with the clipless pedals at all the stops. I still got to do the underpass on the way home :-)
