Shabbat food
Jun. 13th, 2008 04:48 pm- grape liquid, multi-grain challah with flaxseed meal* (half whole wheat)
- broccoli* and summer squash* with garlic*
- potato* salad with hard-boiled eggs* and chives*^ (including their purple flowers)
- a riff on aloo gobi*, with added collards*^ and chickpeas
- green salad*^ with jicama, scallions, tomato, cucumber, and feta
- fruit salad with pineapple, cherries, watermelon, and honeydew (possibly with honeyed Greek-style yogurt)
- sorbet

I haven't made the salads yet, so they may permute some (a reprise of the watermelon-feta salad, perhaps, taking the feta out of the green salad and the watermelon from the fruit salad), but everything else is done (well, the bread is on time-bake, so it's not done, but I have nothing left to do).
I had thought about making fleishigs, but never got around to buying any, so there went that. By next week, I think.
