I've got AAA, it should be fine, once I throw time and money at it. I'm just getting tired of these random things that happen suddenly and require both of those. *sigh*

I had to call them - they showed up a minute or two before the friends I'd called for a jump did. There was all sort of battery corrosion-stuff on the terminals, which I didn't understand, but both AAA and the dealer I brought the car to said it was fine once cleaned. And the fact that - despite some trouble turning over on truly freezing days - the car has started nicely all winter, I believe them. :-)

I experienced problems with corrosion on the battery terminals once too. Cleaned it off with a utility brush.

FYI, the corrosion on the old battery's terminals was noticeably bad, to both knowledgeable people who saw it. It's replaced now.
