In no particular order.

  • Shabbat davening and dinner
  • Shaun the Sheep, and the strangeness of an animated Dr. Who (#10, with Martha) adventure
  • interesting panels
  • yoga plus getting over to the gym once
  • catching up with people I don't see much
  • Ziggurat Labs parties, with kosher snacks even (Camembert and Brie, brownies and bobka: I win :-)
  • fabulous costumes
  • many compliments on my peace shirt (including a request to have copies made. Anyone want to help me get the images I'd need to use Cafepress? (Do they just do front/back images, or can I do stuff around the bottom edge?))
  • summiting Mt. Arisia, plus a redheaded niece at the top
  • buying an obi (and assorted other strings and things) to wear with the kimono I'd gotten at Zzbottom's auction
  • talking with long-lost college friends!!!
  • feeding people, also being hosted for brunch
  • dancing with friends
  • lots of hugs
  • bike chain sculpture

Details to come.

I could help you get the graphics needed for your tshirt. (And I'd totally get one too!)

However, a quick check of Cafepress suggests they only do front/back in the centre of the shirt, not around the bottom.

Also, where did you get that tshirt? Or did you make it?

I painted the T-shirt earlier this year.

Any idea if there's some other similar sort of site that would allow decorating a T-shirt anywhere?

It's a different venture than cafepress - folks would be making some money off your design, but I love Threadless (http://threadless.com). You submit ideas, people vote for/against it, and if it's popular enough a limited run is printed. I own many of their t-shirts, and it's nice to buy a t-shirt that only a couple hundred folks will ever own, that's one-of-a-kind, and costs $10-15. Plus, you can have more freedom with the placement of the design. (The tshirt I'm wearing in the icon is from Threadless.)

Oh, but you get paid for your design if it's chosen: http://www.threadless.com/submit

Thanks for the link!

I'll still have to get a bunch of photos and files ready if I want to submit it there, which is a bit beyond what I can do without technical assistance....

I could totally help you do it, if you took a bunch of photos for me to use as the models for making the graphics in photoshop. (Email me at benjamin.m at gmail and we can figure it all out, if you're interested. I already have an account with them too...)

Thank you! Let me see whether I can get a digital-camera-enabled friend to take some photos; the only ones I have currently are the ones in that LJ gallery.

Crap!...

I missed an animated Dr. Who ep?
I missed getting a good look at this kimono? (and possibly this partic. auction)

And yeah, weak health meant I missed yoga (no, wait, that was sex. hee) and summiting as well.

It was a shame to see you only so briefly.

The Dr. Who came on right after the Shaun the Sheep stuff; I had no clue it was on the schedule at all, so I was just lucky.

The kimono will be worn again (looking more proper, presumably! This time it was pressed into duty as a robe replacement, to have something over my nightgown when I went to the pajama party).

ZZ does put up pictures as well as lists of most of the stuff that will be at his auctions....

Sounds like an excellent reason to miss yoga! (Could even be viewed as more horizontal yoga...).

As always, there were some people I kept running into, and others I barely saw at all. I wish we'd had more time too.

Glad to meet you, too :-)

Still not sure I'd recognize you out of the mask!
