  • black bean and fresh corn salad with scallions and pinjur
  • mess 'o' greens(onion, garlic, shallot, leek, sweet potato, collards, red chard, brown lentils, black pepper, hot sauce)
  • roasted beans(roasted green beans, sugar snap peas, and zucchini)
  • winter squash gnocchi with allspice and cumin (made with the leftover baked squash from last week)
  • fruit salad

Um, I winged it, which is why they're much more, um, freeform, than gnocchi generally are.

I took the leftover squash, added some eggs, then added seasoning and flour until it made a sort of sticky dough (a lot more flour than I expected, too). I put irregular pieces of that into boiling water, scraped them off the bottom after some minutes, then scooped them out when they floated reliably. I'd've served them with Parmesan, except (a) didn't have any, and (b) the greens had cooked in a meat pot.
