Notes from half a day
Apr. 17th, 2007 02:36 pmTurkey morning again, though the first time I've seen it huddled under an overhang rather than looking for food.
The magnolias started flowering this weekend, but the nor'easter did a job on a lot of blossoms which were blown unopened to the ground.
Free scoop day at Ben & Jerry's;anyone want to meet at the Harvard Sq. one this evening? (I'm flex on timing; free scoops technically end at 8 pm.)
Interesting day to walk to Trader Joe's, seeing all the marathon stuff coming down. And I'm enjoying the new design on the TJ's bags, the one with the volcano and tiki gods.
Next year's Boston kosher survey will include Donuts with a Difference. I don't know why they were left off before, but some email has fixed that for 2008.
