This is an interesting way to represent a commute. What a cool idea to observe this! How did you remember it all, though?

Thanks! I've been walking the same route every workday this month, so it wasn't tricky to remember: the type of surface is tied up in the rest of whatever is there along the route (and finding the herringbone brick made me pay more attention to other interesting surfaces along the way. It's not particularly practical, but it's pretty.).
