Shabbat menu
Jan. 19th, 2007 03:46 pmVery, very low key this week, given that it's been a very overfull week, and I'm cooking for one.
I'd thought about making spicy nut noodles, but I just didn't feel like rushing about in the last hour before Shabbat.
- grape juice (using up leftover from Arisia)
- whole wheat pitas (read: too lazy to bake)
- hummus
- turkey meatloaf (with a head of roasted garlic, hot sauce, hot red pepper sauce, eggplant-garlic spread, multi-grain flakes, and ketchup) (I'm in a meatloaf rut recently; I think it's time to move on for a bit. Next week...)
- baked sweet potatoes
- roasted white and green vegetables (onion, zucchini, green beans)
- caramelized onions that are currently slated to go into green salad with oranges, a variety of interesting olives, and balsamic vinegar (though it's always possible salad for one won't happen)
- pizzelle (read: too lazy to bake)
